Understanding the Yemeni Civil War: Policy & Power

Previous JIMES graduate student, Tyler B. Parker, returns to Washington University to discuss the Yemeni Civil War.

Presented by Sigma Iota Rho, “Understanding the Yemeni Civil War: Policy & Power” focuses on the history of the Yemeni Civil War, its geopolitical implications, the humanitarian cost, and other important aspects of this tragic conflict.

Tyler B. Parker received a Master of Arts in Islamic and Near Eastern Studies from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2018.  Parker is currently working toward his PhD in Political Science (International Relations) at Boston College.

The event welcomes two other speakers: Dr. Gamal Gasim (Grand Valley State University) and Sarah Masoud (International Institute of St. Louis).
