This is Dr. Tarbouni's second year volunteering with the MIST program
On Friday, February 24th, Dr. Younasse Tarbouni is providing an introductory lecture and crash-course in Arabic calligraphy for more than one hundred children from Metro St. Louis high schools as part of the annual MIST (Muslim Interscholastic Tournament) program.
MIST - the program homepage may be found here - is an annual tournament for high-schoolers (8th - 12th grade) encompassing competitions across various fields such as arts, sports, science, religion, and more. This year, it is being held on the Washington University campus from February 24th though 26th.
