I’m writing to welcome you to the Fall 2020 semester at WashU.
We have all been through a lot these past few months, but despite it all, we are here now together to start the Fall 2020 semester. The staff and faculty of the JIMES department are as devoted to you and your education as ever. We are eager to welcome you into our scholarly community. We are excited to delve together with you into the study of the Middle East; Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu; and Judaism and Islam in all their facets. Please take a look at our course offerings and keep an eye to your email and our webpage: on top of the courses, we will be offering safe events that will help build and strengthen our community.
