Professor Hayrettin Yücesoy is back from a Summer research trip that took him to Cairo, Riyadh, and Istanbul. There he successfully located a number of manuscripts relevant for his new book project covering two key figures in Abbasid Empire. This Summer research trip was funded by the Center for the Humanities at Washington University.
